dudeInstagram is rolling out an update with the global launch of QR codes. Now you do not need to go to the search in the application to find someone’s profile. Any camera with a reader function is enough to scan the QR code and quickly access to the page.
How to create Instagram QR Code?
You can create a QR code directly in the app. To do this, go to the menu at the top right of your page and select the appropriate item. Then you can choose a background: a color gradient, emoticons or your own selfie. The resulting image can be saved or sent to other people.

Instagram used to have a similar system called Nametags, whereby generated QR codes could only be scanned with the Instagram camera.
How else can you use this feature?
Distribute your code offline. Stick the code on the door of your shop, on the window, mirror, in the menu, etc.
On the official page instagram.com/nametag/ you can save your QR code in good quality.
